In 1925 Carlos Gracie established the first Gracie Jiu-Jitsu Academy in Brazil. Following in his Grandfather's foot steps Charles Gracie moved to America to continue spreading the art of Gracie Jiu-Jitsu, opening the first Charles Gracie Jiu-Jitsu Academy in Daly City, CA in 1997.
To accommodate the expansion of Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu, the Charles Gracie Jiu-Jitsu Academy in Magnolia Texas, is located in the back of The Woodlands and serves The Woodlands, Magnolia, Woodforest, Northampton, Conroe, Tomball, Spring and the greater Houston Area. It was established in 2025, adding to the existing legacy of the existing Charles Gracie Academies. This is the first Academy in Texas and will become the Texas-based home for future expansion into Texas.
